North is on the front of the home. This is a passive solar design and will develop more towards that object as the design progresses. Keep in mind that your North viewed from down under is the same as our South over here in the States...

I just built a building with SIPs not too far from where you want to build. If you have any questions I might be able to help. You won't be able to use SIPs for a shared wall. But you could stick build the wall next to the sip wall knowing that it will be well insulated.

Thanks Greg. We will be sharing walls on at least one side of the house. One will be built up against an existing home and the other will be shared with the adjacent new home we will build next to this one.

We still hope to use SIPs for the home so the cost of the one new shared wall could technically be cut in half. For case study purposes we may not not include this savings, but it is nice to have it for the overall project.

It looks great - well done!

Very simple shell, would be even less expensive with party walls both sides. Its certainly not working against your goals by being too elaborate.
