Well, it has officially been over a year since our very first blog post on October 19th, 2007. While we had hoped to have a few homes under our belt by this time, we couldn’t be happier with the community that has grown around our ramblings on affordable, green building here at the 100K House blog. We never would’ve imagined that so many people would be interested in our little project and our crazy ideas of building modern and green more affordably. So while we still haven’t made a dime at Postgreen, here are some accomplishments we can at least feel warm and fuzzy about:
- 82,728 Visits from 173 Countries/Territories
- 56,927 Absolute Unique Visitors
- 835 incoming links from other sites
- 544 subscribers
- 200 posts
I want to send a special thank you out to the two top bloggers that covered our progress over the past year and sent the most readers our way in the process. Justin (and now Greg also) from Materialicious sent 2,294 visitors our way and Preston from Jetson Green came in second with 1,687 visitors. Thanks for all the support over the past year guys. If anyone from here hasn’t checked out their blogs yet, please do so now. It’s no coincidence that we’ve used more of their images, links and commentary as source information in our own posts than any other blogs on the planet.
Thanks also to all of our readers and we look forward to collaborating with all of you to continually improve modern, green and affordable development across the country.

Congratulations and a big thank you! Your site is informative, entertaining, very inspiring and superbly useful! Keep up the great work and never give up on the ideas that “there always must be a better way!” and “who said that the way we live now, is the best that we can do?!”
Happy birthday/anniversary!!! The houses look great! I can’t wait to walk through them when they’re finished!
