Most of you know about our oft-delayed SIPs Week which will finally be starting on Tuesday, Nov. 4th. This will be a training event for contractors, framers and other building professionals interested in learning about building with SIPs (download SIPs event PDF). It is also a great time for more casual observers to stop by and see the SIPs construction in action.
To add even more excitement to this week we have decided to hold a special happy hour event on Thursday, Nov 5th. This event will start at the site for a Q&A about SIPs construction and end at the Memphis Taproom (a big thank you to them for hosting) for free appetizers, 1$ off drinks and more talk. We hope that a good number of our readers can make it out to introduce themselves in person.
When: Thursday, Nov. 6th at 5:00 p.m.
Where: The 100k Site – 2100 E. Susquehanna Ave (map)
If you want to join us for this event please email nic@postgreen.com or better yet, let us know in the comments. Remember, we don’t want to support the entire neighborhood’s appetite for beer, so if you want your ticket to cheap drinks and free eats, you have to come to the 1ook site first.
Alright, who’s coming?

I can’t make it, but I hope you document the week well and publish many videos and photos. I look forward to hearing about how it goes.
I will attempt to make it. Do you know approximately how long the event will last? And is the training session on the 4th or the 5th and when? My grammar – she is no so good.
Daryl – We will start at the site on Thursday at 5PM and head over to the Memphis Taproom around 6PM.
The training is four days from Tuesday morning (4th) to Friday afternoon (7th).
I’ll be there and I’ll be thirsty
I’m in the neighborhood and totally support what you’re doing. Would like to hear more about your venture, so I’ll be there.
Thanks Brian. Unfortunately, with our recent delays it looks like we will be postponing this happy hour until a later date (maybe next Thursday?). We will still be at the site and may even manage to get a panel or three up, so feel free to stop by.
Couldn’t make it tonight. I’ll try to stay in loop about next week.
