Delayed in production with funding issues, difficult to manage talent, location problems and whatever other excuses film makers use, SIPs Week, the movie, is finally available to it’s anxious public. Featuring the most ridiculous music to date and some highly questionable editing decisions, this film will move you (away from your computer most likely) and change the way you think about ridiculous construction videos forever. So, put your cell phones on vibrate, whip up a sack of popcorn and prepare to be mildly entertained.
Spoiler Alert: It ends with a house and yet somehow manages anti-climax.

As you can see, SIP storage and staging can be awkward on infill projects. Also, Big SIPS are tough to handle.
Maybe 2×8 and 4×8 panels maximum size would help? Then a $1000
“ladder hoist” could be used for the upper floors.
WOW! just wow.
Can’t wait for the sequel.
Well, it won’t much of a splash @ Canne or Sundance, but it kept y’all in & away from bar ‘n grill for an evening or three….;)
…and yeah, a better way to handle the big panels is in order. Perhaps temporarily mounting some cleats to the top of the panels on both faces to allow a sling to be slung for the loll/crane, and give the guys backs a break….none of that looked like fun….
Truly a sight to behold, and a testament to the difference between theory and practice. The music was a risky move that paid off quite well
Thought the music was great. Something different. Would like to see a movie of the inside and the finished project as they show in HGTV segments. Great job.
I think the crew could do with a little workshop on panel handling and erecting eh? Looked like a bunch of people with MA’s in Eng Lit and student loans to pay off.
BUT … BIG BUT so much faster and easier than stik bilt. Bye bye carpenters hello Lib Arts debtors.
Music … I expected nine inch nails.
