Postgreen Homes Web Launch Party

We have been working hard, with the help of the talented team at Nimblelight, to complete the design of our new website, and we are finally reaching the point where we can put an end date on the process. That end date is July 30th, 2009, and we plan to celebrate accordingly. So, clear your calendars, hire a babysitter (or dog/cat sitter) and join us for the web launch party of the year. Beer and wine will flow, food will be abundant and the music will tastefully rock (is that even possible?). We hope to pack the joint, and it’s a big joint, so please help us out.

The new website, www.postgreenhomes.com (don’t visit now . . . it isn’t up yet), is an application designed to let you customize one of our homes much in the same way you might customize a computer or car. Upgrade flooring, change the color of counter tops, add solar panels and much more. In the end you will have the home you want and a price to go with it.

Tied into this party will be the announcement of a couple of exciting new Postgreen Homes projects and the opportunity for interested buyers to customize homes in those projects on the spot. We will have computers set up so that anyone can test out the new site, and if they are feeling particularly impulsive, buy a home. If that isn’t enough, we will also be introducing new models and at least one new facade design at the event.

The party will be taking place in the impressive gallery space at our new office building, 2424 York Street in Fishtown. We will be posting more information on this party as it comes together and will be sending email invitations soon.

When: July 30, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
Where: 2424 E. York St., Philadelphia, PA 19125 (map)

So, who’s coming? Let us hear it in the comments.

What’s up with http://www.postgreenhomes.com? I went there and there was almost nothing to peruse and/or click on. Weak.

It’s on my calendar, and yes my band will play.

As a Santa Monica, CA based green certified Realtor, I am totally stoked I found your site and your product. Sorry I can’t make the gathering, but I will continue to stay up to date with what you are doing to see how I may implement it into my clients needs on the west coast. Keep up the good work.

Too bad I’m out of town then. Have a great time. Can’t wait to see the site.

i am excited about your venture and very interested in modern green building. is it an open invitation to your web launch party?

7 Nic Darling July 24, 2009 at 9:26 am

The invitation is open to everyone. Bring whoever you like. Invite whoever might be interested. We have a big space and we want to fill it.

Bob – Absolutely, this is open to everyone. Bring your family and friends. Bring your enemies. Bring that weird guy that lives across the street and see what happens.

9 Mark Antonaccio July 28, 2009 at 11:04 pm

Woah! The weird guy is invited? Ok. I’ll try and make it! =)
All kidding aside, great to see all the progress you all have made.
