(Editors Note: Those of you who haven’t been to our events may not realize there are actually three partners at Postgreen. In addition to Chad and Nic, we have Courtney Ludeman (Chad’s wife). She tends to be the least vocal of the partners (unless you really annoy her), but we decided we should get her out there a little more. To that end we are asking her for occasional blog posts beginning with this introduction. Let’s make her feel welcome.)
Hi Everyone! My name is Courtney Ludeman and I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to those of you who do not know me. You may have seen me in previous Postgreen videos, or if you have attended any of our events I am always there giving tours, going over options, and taking care of business. I am married to the ever popular and dashingly handsome (sic) Chad Ludeman, and handle the less seen financial side of Postgreen and its companies as well as the outgoing sales for all of our projects. I am also a Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker Preferred’s top team, The Stokes Group. I have been a Realtor for over 6 years, and am very experienced in all aspects of selling and buying a home, including financing, title issues and more.
A little bit about myself for your reading enjoyment:
1) I DESPISE blogging. Nic has been attempting to get me blogging on the site for over a year, and up until this point, I have successfully fended him off. So I apologize in advance if you find my posts boring or otherwise unentertaining. It’s probably due to the fact that my arm is currently being twisted out of its socket.
2) I have a very different working style than Chad & Nic. These guys are innovators. They’re creative. They like to think up big crazy ideas in what they claim to be “meetings” over beers at the Memphis Taproom. They are smart, funny, and insane and we love them for it. I, on the other hand, am the person in the meeting with the checklist of things that must be discussed and must be completed ASAP! I have a “go, go, go” personality – problem solving and task oriented to the max. It probably helps to let you know that I used to be a Stock Broker on the Options Floor of the Philly Stock Exchange. This sort of high-strung, detail-oriented personality sometimes clashes with my two more creative partners, but I like to think it helps us all be a more driven, successful company.
3) I can get away with my craziness because I am known as “The Money”. For the first two years Postgreen was in business, I supported our cash flow through my Real Estate Sales with Coldwell Banker Preferred, thus earning myself the nickname “The Money”. However, since giving birth to my amazing son Teague in August, I have cut back on that aspect of my life, so Postgreen is on its own for 2010. I have no doubt they will soon put my success to shame and I will need a new nickname. However, for the time being when I call Nic’s phone “Rid wit Me” (aka Must be the Money) by Nelly is the ringtone he will hear.
So this is all well and good – but why do you care? Well, for those of you looking to buy one of our stellar Postgreen Homes – I’m the girl for you. I represent Postgreen on the sales of all of its homes. If you would like a tour of our model home, would like to sit down and discuss design options, or just have questions about the overall buying process, please do not hesitate to contact me anytime. Buying a home can be extremely daunting, and buying a new construction home is definitely different than normal homes sales, so please feel free to let me know any questions or concerns you may have.
Okay, well that’s all for now. Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there are any real estate related posts you would like to see from me in the future. Until next time!
