The Building Industry Association of Philadelphia is offering a tour of six green projects in Fishtown including three of ours. On this tour you will get to see The Ice House and a couple “before and after” homes from Green Revolution Realty. You will also get a chance to check out our original 100k project, the Passive Project and the Skinny Project. The Skinny should be particularly interesting as it will just be entering the framing phase of construction.
This tour does involve a bit of money, though the cost is lower if you are a member of the BIA, DVGBC or GPAR. The price of entry also includes an open bar happy hour at Memphis Taproom (our satellite office) which we think completely justifies the cost of admission.
The tour will be held on Thursday, April 8th regardless of the weather. Registration will begin at 2:00 pm at the Ice House and the whole deal will wrap up at Memphis Taproom with a happy hour from 5-6:30 pm. If you want in on this thing, sign up soon (PDF download). The price goes up $10 after April 5th.
We will be out at each of our sites answering questions all afternoon and at Memphis soothing our sore vocal chords afterward. I hope to see some of you out there.
